InfoSecKBY Training

The Northern Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDAT) seeks to grow a capable scene of ICT and Entrepreneurship to ignite an active digital economic cycle. As such, the department is at the forefront of the tech activities.

This training will further help incapacitate local techies skills in building secure applications and groom talent that would be agents of digital and online defense in the province. At the driving end is the Geekulcha Student Society (GKSS) which has been responsible for hosting various Hackathons in the province.

Local social entrepreneurship platform, the Diamond Creative Vision Hub will help facilitate the training activities which will include a vulnerability testing hands-on session.

Office of the Premier in the Northern Cape will also be supporting the training and helping guide the participants on the digital needs of the province.
